The Classroom Management (CLRM) application template for Microsoft SharePoint Online 2013 | Office 365 Enterprise Plans helps course instructors improve communication with students.  The site includes the capability to upload key assignment due dates, events, course syllabus and supporting materials.  Tasks can also be created and assigned to students with due dates for their completion.  Additionally, discussions can be held on topics suggested by any member of the site. These discussions can be accessed either through the Classroom Management site or an RSS read such as Microsoft Office Outlook 2013.

 

 

Employee Activities

The Employee Activities (EA) application template for Microsoft SharePoint Online 2013 | Office 365 Enterprise Plans helps manage the proposal, scheduling and sign-up of activities offered to employees.  The site provides functionality to manage a proposal to create an employee activity.  Activity managers can then take that proposal and convert it into a scheduled event using the site’s scheduling functionality.  After an activity is scheduled, employees can sign up for these events and, if a conflict occurs, remove themselves from the list of attendees.  The site automatically tracks the maximum number of attendees, if applicable, and provides a dashboard where users can view a list of events they are signed up for and those which they are planning.   The site also includes libraries where related event documents and pictures can be uploaded as well as a place for company-wide announcements.

 

Absence Request and Vacation Schedule Management

The site enables a training coordinator to create new courses, including course descriptions, dates, locations and maximum number of attendees.  After a course is created, employees log into the site to register and download course materials that have been posted to the site by the instructor.  Employees using the site see a view that lists the courses they have registered for as well as a list of courses they have previously attended.  Course attendees can also use the site to leave quantitative and qualitative feedback for the instructor using the site’s survey feedback capabilities.  Instructors view the feedback at a single glance, using the feedback to improve the next version of the training.

 

Job Requisition and Interview Management

The Job Requisition and Interview Management (JRIM) application template for Microsoft SharePoint Online 2013 | Office 365 Enterprise Plans helps recruiters streamline the process of managing the creation of job requisitions, coordinating interviews, collecting interview feedback and tracking the results of the interviews all in one place.  The template allows assignment of responsibility for requisitions, candidates and interviews to people in the organization.  Once logged in, these individuals have the option to see only the requisitions, candidates and interviews that they are responsible for or a complete list of all information on the site.
